We are all called to be used by God

We are all called to reach people, and have influence in every sphere of our life.  If you’re still breathing, God can and He will use you.

In Jesus’ last words on earth he says “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in my name”.  This, this is our purpose. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s your parent’s, grandparent’s, brother’s, sister’s – it’s everyone’s purpose.  A disciple is simply put - a follower of Jesus. The entire reason we exist is to love Jesus and point others towards Him. Seems simple? It is.

God has called you to this exact city, this exact school, university, workplace, and home for a specific purpose.  Maybe you feel out of place, out of what God wants for your life, and like you don’t know where to go next – trust that where you are is exactly where you are supposed to be, and that God will use you where you are in ways greater than you could ever understand.

Let this encourage you and inspire you – not burden you with worry or the fear of failure.  Just ask God what he would have you do, what part he would have you play – and trust what he says.  When doing a puzzle, you can’t complete it without putting in the first piece. Ask God what his plan is for your friends, classmates and team mates, and know that if you stay obedient to him and play your part – that piece by piece, you will see your friends, schools, and workplaces, changed with the reality of Jesus.

Act: “Pray. Pray for your schools, friends, and workplaces.  But after praying, do! Have the conversations, be bold and ask your friends how they are doing, encourage them, and be in tune with what God is calling you to do, what piece of the puzzle he is calling you to put in”.
