Choosing to trust God’s plans today

For years, I wondered if I was walking in God’s will. I spent countless hours questioning my path and striving instead of confidently resting in His sovereignty and power. If you can identify with the anxiety that comes from trying to understand and predict God’s leading then I hope to encourage you with this today.

Psalm 37:23 tells us that “the steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord, and He delights in his way [and blesses his path].

Friends, no matter what decision, circumstance or trial you are facing, I pray that this truth reminds you of God’s involvement in every moment of your life. As long as we’re looking to Him and His Word before our own wisdom, He promises to take care in guiding each and every step that we take. No matter what it looks like, we can trust that He is fighting for us and working all together for our good and His glory.

When we let the reality of His goodness and care sink into our hearts you and I can actually live free, open lives. Knowing that He is always with and for His followers allows us to tangibly move past any fear rooted in comparison, failure and insecurity!
